Orange Cyberdefense is Europe's leading cyber security services and solutions provider, and we are currently looking for a SIEM Specialist to join our team.
As a part of our Managed SIEM team in our UK CyberSOC, where you will be part of a team of SIEM specialists monitoring and managing the availability and performance levels of customer SIEM solutions.
Your key responsiblities as a SIEM Specialist will be:
- Maintaining and developing SIEM platforms
- Mitigating incidents and deploying changes
- Ensuring continuity of service for managed SIEM solutions
- Monitoring the Managed SIEM infrastructure
- Analysing, advising on, and resolving SIEM related issues
- Managing onboarding projects for new customers
- Coordinating vendor support staff to resolve incidents
- Updating and upgrading the Managed SIEM infrastructure of customers
- Service reporting on customer environments
- Liaising with colleagues across multiple teams to deliver crucial support to stakeholders
- Key resource in the development of CyberSOC solutions and service improvements
To join us as a SIEM Specialist, you must hold the following qualifications and experience:
- You must have experience working with SIEM solutions such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk or LogRhythm
- You must have experience working as a system/network administrator or similar on both Windows & Linux Server
- You will have knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, IPS/IDS, Proxies and Firewalls
- You must have knowledge of Microsoft SQL and/or MySQL Database
- You must have experience with Python or similar scripting languages
- You will ideally hold MS Sentinel, Splunk or other SIEM certifications
- You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- You will thrive with troubleshooting and see problem solving as an exciting challenge
- You are able to function effectively in a high pressure environment, both individually and as part of a team
