Reporting to the PMO Manager, the Senior Project Manager will be technically astute, a strong team player and have a solid background in both business and IT domains. You will have extensive experience in delivering complex and managing a portfolio IT projects. We are looking for a dynamic, articulate and motivated Senior Project Manager who can deliver operational excellence for our client projects and communicate with senior stakeholders in a very high performing department.

Your key responsibilities as a Senior Project Manager will be as follows:

  • Provide end-to-end project management of large scale projects throughout their life cycle, from initiation, planning, budgeting, scheduling
  • Provide reporting to stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Manage risk and issues for assigned projects, providing clear communications and project support to the stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, to agreed scope, quality and budget
  • Control all assigned BAU projects on behalf of the PMO ensuring that the project meets required standards to achieve BAU and handoff to our SOC
  • Coordinate with Professional Services resources to ensure smooth operational delivery of projects in accordance with project governance framework and PMO processes
  • Coordinate financial billing, time and expenses for the PMO realising project revenues upon project completion
  • Responsible for enforcing PMO standards and policies across the organisation on behalf of the PMO Manager
  • Lead assigned projects to completion in an efficient and controlled manner
  • Develop individual project plans, project and technical documentation complete with budgetary information and resource requirements
  • Host regular project meetings for each project under your direction
  • Refine project budget as needed to ensure timeliness and budgetary responsibility is managed
  • Communicate project objectives to all team members involved, managing multiple work teams

You must have the following qualifications and experience to join us as a Senior Project Manager:

  • You must hold a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
  • You must have extensive IT Project Management experience
  • You must have solid experience of working with cross functional teams within a multi-resource environment including working with third parties
  • You must have managed projects of £500k and above
  • You must have experience of providing reports and presentations, as well as working in a structured project delivery environment
  • You must have experience of financial management and forecasting tasks such as P&L
  • You will be an expert communicator and able to manage the project deliverables on behalf of Orange Cyberdefense, delivering those projects to scope, time, quality and cost expectations
  • You must possess passion and energy, be forward thinking and able to make sound commercial decisions to ensure technical success criteria and client expectations are met
