Orange Cyberdefense is Europe’s leading managed security, threat detection and threat intelligence service provider and we are currently looking for a Security Consultant to join our team.

This candidate will have strong technical and face to face engagement experience, with experience of IT Infrastructure, Security technology, SIEM and Vulnerability Scanning services. 

 Your main responsibilities as a Security Consultant include:

  • Providing consultancy services to existing clients from advising on security activity and undertaking gap analysis in detection capabilities via service reviews and adhoc meetings that have been qualified
  • Providing consultancy services to on-board new clients technically into the MSIS Solutions within the project phase
  • Supporting pre-sales with scoping complex opportunities via on-site engagements
  • Providing technical support to scope complex potential contracts that fall within the MSIS department
  • Owning rough order of magnitude engagements which will include visiting prospective client sites for up to 5 day engagements to consult on the various MSIS services effectively at a low level
  • Providing consultancy services to existing MSIS Clients – from getting the most out of log sources, to analysing what has been detected over their network from a month to month period and conduct bespoke investigations
  • Develop detection strategies with the customers and build on use cases for our services
  • Attending project technical design workshops to ensure that all clients are comfortable with the technical deployment process and are aware of the BAU process before transition
  • Provide a clear and fluid line of communication to all relevant stakeholders (both internal and external) relating to our service, new developments and extended capabilities
  • Providing deep-dive support with RFI / RFP’s that come through relating to the MSIS department 

The experience and skills required to join us as a Security Consultant include:

  • You must have extensive cyber security experience - with security technologies, firewalls, IPS/IDS, Web application Firewalls, SIEM, Security Monitoring etc
  • You must hold CISSP, PCI ASV, a Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • You must have solid experience in Security Operations
  • You must have customer facing experience
  • You must have an inquisitive mind and ability to analyse log data and relate back to existing vulnerabilities (e.g. WannaCry Ransomware)
  • You will need knowledge of SIEM technologies and security tooling; LogRhythm, Splunk, QRadar, Arcsight etc
  • You will have working experience with Enterprise IT, e.g. Routers, Switches and Microsoft AD 
  • You will have an understanding of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, malware analysis 
  • You will be confident with excellent communication skills, preferably with previous client facing experience
